  This logo represents three things that are extremely important in my life. For this assignment, Professor Roundtree instructed the class to design a logo that symbolizes who we are as an individual. I used a symbol of family to represent my love and passion for my family members. I included a four-leaf clover to represent my family's descent from Ireland. Lastly, I included an Italian Horn to show my Italian heritage. These three symbols are something that I carry myself with every day and remind show my true colors as a human being.     The color scheme that I chose to incorporate for my three logos has an in-depth meaning behind them. For my gradient mesh project, I was looking for items around my house and I decided to open up my refrigerator and found an apple which lead me to use for this assignment.   The project was to use the gradient mesh tool to recreate your specific item which was converted into the Adobe Illustrator Application.   The first step that I took when starting the project was importing the image of the apple and then I went onto to tracing the outside of the Apple I found.   I then starting using the gradient mesh tool to create the different shades of the piece of fruit as it appeared in the image.   I had trouble at first figuring out the best way to use the gradient mesh tool but by following various tutorials online, I started to get the hang of making my project looking appealing.   Overall, I believe the project was a success as I did my best to compose not only the apple that was shown, but the different shades of colors that go along with it. ...

When starting off brainstorming ideas of what I wanted to construct for my Calligram, I realized I wanted to do something meaningful that connected to my creative process as an Artist.   Many different artists and illustrators have different ways of setting their mind to their goal and I personally have always relied on the appearance of music to set my mind to the right mental state so I can be productive.   One of my favorite artists and musicians is “Meek Mill” who is an up an coming rapper from Philadelphia who was made an extremely successful career by telling his life story through music.   He sings about the challenges and struggles that a young man faces growing up in the trenches of a rough area and how he has turned his career into a dream while connecting with his audience on a truly deep level.   I decided to use this project as an experience to bring the viewer of my work to the understanding that you may simply just be looking at an...

When starting off brainstorming my ideas and thought process for this project, I took a pen to graph paper and sketched an outline of my goal for the outcome of my first piece in the class.   The process of planning out exactly what I wanted to produce in this project gave me the head start that I needed to now conceptualize my design to Adobe Dreamweaver.   As a Junior at the University of Tampa, the workload of my academic career is at an all-time high which can often tend to make students feel overwhelmed or stressed from the amount of commitment that their classes can bring on.   I decided to use this project as a stress releaser and bring the viewer of this piece into a positive mindset by recreating the most family-oriented and cheerful time of every year which is the holiday season.   My personal take on the holiday season always involves snow being on the ground with decorations all around for everyone to enjoy and partake in themselves. ...
